If you notice the stain before laundering, rinse stain with warm water to remove excess paint, work hand soap directly into any leftover stain and rinse. Do not pretreat or use prewashing solutions, which may set the stain. Wash immediately in hot water with laundry detergent for about 12 minutes (heavy soil cycle). If stain remains, soak in OxiClean or Clorox 2 solution, according to the instructions on the container, for one hour and repeat laundry cycle. Repeated laundering should remove any residual stains.
