Dampen a sponge with alcohol and use a blotting motion to absorb the marker stain, changing the sponge as often as needed. Apply upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container. If stain remains, use Capture spot and soil remover according to the directions on the container. -

Spot Shot Carpet Stain Remover
Blot stain with a damp sponge, changing the sponge as it picks up stain. If any stain remains, apply alcohol to a cotton ball and blot. If stain persists, apply alcohol to a cotton ball and place on the stain with a weight on the cotton ball. Cover with a glass jar or equivalent to keep the cotton ball moist overnight. If stain is still noticeable, apply Spot Shot as recommended on the container. SPECIAL NOTE: Do not leave Spot Shot on for more than 8 hours. Check after 4 hours. -

Bleach for Colored Clothing Clorox 2reg or Oxiclean Powder
Laundry Detergent
1. Before laundering, rinse the stain from fabric with hot water until no more color can be removed.
2. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent for about 12 minutes (heavy soil cycle). Do not put the garment in the dryer.
3. Soak in a solution of Oxi Clean or Clorox 2® according to the instructions on the container for one hour. Let the garment air dry.
4. Repeat laundering should remove any residual stains. Do not heat-dry between washings.

Water
Apply Soft Scrub with bleach to a soft cloth and wipe the stain. After stain is removed, wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
Special Notes:
- The stain may not be removable from flat paint with the above products. You may need to lightly sand the stained area to remove all color and then repaint.
- Use very fine sandpaper on untreated wood, sand gently until color is gone.
- On grout use Soft Scrub with bleach to clean the stain.
