Scrape off as much crayon as possible. Apply liquid dish soap and work into the stained area. Let stand a few minutes, rub fabric under warm water to remove the stain. Machine wash using the heavy soil setting and the hottest water the fabric will allow with OxiClean or Clorox 2. Allow to air dry. Repeat as needed.

Using laundry detergent, wash fabric in hot water for 12 minutes (use heavy soiled setting if there is no minute timer on your machine). Rinse and let air-dry. If stain remains, treat the stain with liquid dish soap. Flush the area with water. Soak the fabric in a laundry detergent soak made with hot water for 30 minutes. Wash the fabric in hot water with laundry detergent and Oxi Clean detergent. Rinse and air-dry. -

Warm Water
Scrape excess crayon off with a dull-edge knife or metal spoon. Spray or dampen with warm water and apply liquid dish soap on the stained area, work in with the brush and wipe stain away with a damp sponge. If stain remains, repeat the procedure. -

SPECIAL NOTE: heat-set stain - Wipe the stained area with paper towels to remove as much crayon as possible. Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser per the manufacturer's direction. Clean, dry rags can be placed into the dryer and ran through a cycle to remove any remaining stain. Repeat as needed. -

Fabric (fresh)--Scrape off excess wet or dry air-dry clay using a dull knife or metal spoon. Wash the fabric in hot water/cold rinse with laundry detergent on heavy duty cycle. If stain remains, repeat procedure.Fabric (heat-set, melted)—Presoak the fabric in laundry detergent according to the directions on the container. Wash as directed above.
