Washable Sidewalk Chalk on Upholstery

    Allow paint to dry completely. Vacuum on highest power setting. If any stain remains, brush the area with a stiff-bristled brush to loosen trapped particles, then vacuum again. Remove any remaining color with a wet sponge or upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container.

    Soft Scrub Mild Abrasive Cleanser

    1. Spray the chalk marks with a garden hose until the area is wet.

    2. Prepare a cleaning solution of warm water and dish soap in a separate container or spray bottle for easy application. Generously apply the solution to the stained area.

    3. Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub the area in a circular motion, applying more soapy water, as needed.

    4. Rinse the area with the garden hose to remove any soap and chalk residue.

    5. If any colorant remains, apply a mildly abrasive cleaner, such as Soft Scrub (without bleach) and continue to scrub the area with a stiff bristle brush.

    6. Rinse then repeat the process, as needed, until no colorant remains.
