How can I involve students' families?

Be sure to invite families to join the two days of weekend family fun during Crayola Creativity Week, and encourage them to pop by the website throughout the year for colorfully fun learning at home, anytime by visiting the ‘Family Resources’ page!

  • We’ve designed a secure online gallery for showcasing students’ creations. When you post student work on social media to #CrayolaCreativityWeek, we’ll add those images, stories, videos, and other student-created content to our online gallery. Students can share the gallery with their family and friends and explore other creators’ work too!
  • On the Friday of Creativity Week, we invite all participating schools to join us for a free live-streamed event celebrating your students’ creations, and the many things they’ll create in the future. Celebrity guests from the week—and some new ones too!—will make special appearances, alongside schools celebrating across the country. Watch for details on our Calendar page to participate in this colorful live event filled with music, dancing, and creative inspiration.

  • Most of our Celebrity Creators welcome students’ comments via their social media accounts. Be sure to tune into each day’s video event to share your comments, images, and more — you just might get a special shout out!

  • Crayola® Air-Dry Clay has a smooth, porcelain-like texture when wet and can be shaped on a potter’s wheel by intermediate and advanced students. However, it is not suitable for kiln firing or use with traditional ceramic glazes.

  • Opened Model Magic can be stored in an air-tight container but should be used within a few days, as it is designed to dry and harden over a brief period of time.
