Create It Yourself

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Cardboard Box or Shoebox
  • Cardstock
  • Hole Punch
  • Ribbon

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cut 2 pieces of cardstock paper to the width of the box with a protruding triangle at the top to create the front and back of the house.

  • Step 2

    Cut a rectangle to the width of the box and cut the length longer than the width to create the roof.

  • Step 3

    Decorate Cardstock paper with Crayola Markers and Metallic Markers.

  • Step 4

    Design the remaining two sides of the box with Crayola Markers.

  • Step 5

    Glue Cardstock to the front and back of the box.

  • Step 6

    Glue the roof to one side of the house to leave an opening.

  • Step 7

    Hole punch the edge of the box and the connecting edge of the roof cardstock. Slip a ribbon through both of the punched holes.

  • Step 8

    Cut a bow out of Cardstock and decorate with Crayola markers, then glue over the ribbon on the roof.
