Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

Construction Paper
Crayons
Clear Tape
Crayon or Pencil Sharpener
Duct Tape
Hair Dryer
Pencil(s)
Wax Paper

Steps

Step 1

Unwrap 2–6 crayons, then use crayon sharpener to create shavings.
Step 2

Lay a piece of wax paper on a protected surface. Evenly sprinkle shavings onto wax paper.
Step 3

Place a slightly larger piece of wax paper overtop and seal edges with duct tape.
Step 4

With the help of an adult, use a hairdryer to melt shavings. Let cool 15 minutes.
Step 5

Draw outline of a cauldron on construction paper, plus inner circle. Cut out both.
Step 6

Place cauldron on wax paper and trace to fit within center of cauldron. Cut out.
Step 7

Attach wax paper to back of cauldron with clear tape and flip over.
Step 8

Hang in a window and let the light shine through this Halloween decoration!
