Our eggs go over easy with families who like quick holiday crafts. These 3-D decorations are so beautiful you'll have them hanging around long after Easter.
Supplies:
- Recycled Materials
- Crayola Washable Paint
- Newspaper
- Ribbon
- Crayola Markers
- Crayola Paint Brushes
- Water
- Hole Punch
Steps:
1 Draw ovals on recycled file folders with Crayola® Washable Markers. Make two identical ovals for each egg. Cut out eggs with Crayola Scissors.
2 With markers, decorate both sides of two ovals exactly the same.
3 Cover your work area with newspaper. Dip a Crayola Paint Brush in water and spread the marker color around the eggs. Dry.
4 Brush the other side of the eggs with water. Dry.
5 Add more color and designs with markers.
6 Cut a line halfway across both egg shapes from the edge to the center.
7 Fit the two slots together so that the two oval shapes meet in the center to form a three-dimensional egg.
8 Punch a hole in one end and loop ribbon through it to hang.
