Steps

  • Step 1

Pixels are fun! You need plenty of them to make cool designs. Outline a simple object on grid paper with Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils. We chose a fish, but you can draw whatever you like.

  • Step 2

Imagine the object’s lines, colors, and shapes. Place a dot of color from a Crayola Marker in each square. Large areas have lots of dots the same color, while other sections will be single rows of colored dots.

  • Step 3

Erase any extra pencil marks. Then stand back! Your drawing will look like a pixilated version of the original. If you like, cut it out with Crayola Scissors and mount it on black paper for a striking effect.
