Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! ...

  • Construction Paper
  • Paint
  • Cotton Swabs
  • Hole Punch
  • Twine

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cut out a red (or blue) star from construction paper and place in the center of a rectangular piece of white paper.

  • Step 2

    Dip a cotton swab into the red paint. 

  • Step 3

    Gently dab the paint all around the star.

  • Step 4

    Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the blue then the white paint until the paper is decorated to your liking with dots.

  • Step 5

    Carefully lift the star off the paper.

  • Step 6

    Let the paint dry.

  • Step 7

    Repeat steps 1-6 until you have enough stars to complete your banner length.

  • Step 8

    Once the paint is dry, punch a hole in both top corners of each decorated star. Thread twine through the holes and hang your banner.
