Form a large handful of Crayola Air-Dry Clay into a cone shape. On a hard surface, flatten the bottom. Firmly press on the top of the cone to slightly angle and flatten the top as well.
Use a modeling tool or thin piece of string to make a slice in the clay from the top of the flattened cone almost through to the bottom. Gently pull the slice apart to form the mouth. Dab your finger in some water and rub along the clay to smooth any rough edges.
Add teeth, eyes, and nostrils to the shark. Use modeling tools or a toothpick to add small details. Allow the clay to air-dry completely. That may take up to 3 days.
When dry, bring the shark to life with bold colors of Crayola Portfolio Series Acrylic Paint!
When the paint has dried completely, you’re ready to use your new cell phone stand! Display this cool creation in your home or give it as a gift to another shark-lover!
