Turkey DIY Bookmark

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! From paints and markers to glue and scissors, our crafts section has everything to spark creativity and make every project truly special.

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cut out a small square piece of construction paper.

  • Step 2

    Fold in half to create triangle. Rotate so long edge is at bottom and right angle faces up.

  • Step 3

    Fold down top sheet (so tip of the triangle touches base) and crease.

  • Step 4

    Fold right and left corners to frame pre-folded sheet.

  • Step 5

    Unfold corners and tuck into flap to create corner bookmark.

  • Step 6

    Sketch and cut out construction paper and cardstock feathers, plus construction paper beak and wattle.

  • Step 7

    Glue feathers to back of bookmark and facial features to front.

  • Step 8

    Glue wiggle eyes to complete face. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 9

    Add details to feathers with colored pencils.

  • Step 10

    Tuck bookmark onto corner of page to hold your spot!
