When was the color peach introduced?

The Crayola Crayon color name flesh was changed to peach in 1962 to recognize that not everyone’s skin tone is the same.

Throughout our history, we’ve continued to take steps to offer more inclusive products, as we believe every child should be able to creatively and accurately color themselves. Our Crayola Colors of the World coloring tools include specially formulated colors designed to mirror and represent over 40 global skin tones across the world.
