How can I apply for a Crayola donation?

USA

Crayola's community relations program makes direct charitable contributions to non-profit organizations in our manufacturing areas of Lehigh and Northampton Counties in Pennsylvania, and Warren County in New Jersey. If your organization meets these geographic requirements, please visit Crayolacares.com to submit a donation request. Due to the heavy volume of requests, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for a response.

To assist qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or schools located outside our manufacturing area, we coordinate our efforts through Good360, the world’s leading charity in product philanthropy, Kids in Need Foundation, and the National Association for the Exchange of Industrial Resources (NAEIR). Please contact them directly to receive additional information about their eligibility criteria and Crayola product availability.

As an alternative, small packages of Crayola Crayons may be purchased for promotional purposes or to be given as donations from any of the following US suppliers:

Educators Resource - 800-868-2368
Compass Industries - 877-210-1414

CANADA

Visit Crayola.ca for details regarding Crayola Canada’s donation program.

  • Crayola® Washable Window Markers are designed specifically for window decorating.

If you're unable to locate the Window Markers, Crayola Washable Paint can be a fun alternative.

    Pro Tips for Washable Paint:

    • For the perfect mixture, add equal parts Crayola Washable Paint and dish soap.
    • Add a pinch of flour to make the paint thicker.
    • Don't forget to protect the area under your window by laying down an old T-shirt.
    • Painting can be done on the inside or the outside of your window.
    • Because soap is used in the paint, your designs will wipe off windows with a wet paper towel. You can follow up with window cleaner for extra shine.

  • Yes, Crayola® Model Magic® pieces can be sealed once they are completely dry. The drying time for Model Magic generally takes 24 hours to dry to the touch and 72 hours (about 3 days) to dry completely.

How to seal dried Model Magic sculptures:

    1. Apply a thin layer of acrylic varnish to a test sample to check for compatibility before using it on the finished piece.
    2. If the varnish is compatible, apply an even coat over the entire sculpture.
    3. Allow the varnish to dry completely before handling your masterpiece.

Important Note: Sealing your work will not make it waterproof. Exposure to water and outdoor elements will negatively affect Model Magic, so it is best to display your sculpture indoors.
