How do I clean the drawing surface of the Crayola Ultimate Light Board?

Below are pro-tips for cleaning the drawing board of your Crayola Ultimate Light Board, Multi-Color Light Board, Glow Board, and Glow Dome.
 
•    Wipe the drawing surface with a damp cloth, damp paper towel, or disinfectant wipe.
•    Dry thoroughly to remove any residue.
•    Drawings left on the surface for an extended period of time may need a drop of liquid dish soap on a damp cloth to remove. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel to remove any residue. Do not immerse the unit in water to clean.

  • Troubleshooting & Tips for Your Crayola Color Wonder Magic Light Brush

    The Crayola Color Wonder Magic Light Brush is a mess-free painting tool designed to work exclusively with Color Wonder Paper.

    For best results:

    • Protect your work surface before starting.
    • Turn on the brush — the handle will light up and cycle through all colors.
    • Once the cycle ends, press the bristles into the center of the paint pad for 1–2 seconds to allow it to pick up enough color to transfer to the Color Wonder Paper.
    • The handle will temporarily light up the color of the selected paint.
    • Brush the bristles against the paint pad several times to coat them with an invisible layer of paint.
    • Apply the brush to Color Wonder Paper and watch the colors magically appear!

    Do I need to replace the paint pads?

    No. The paint pads are securely sealed during manufacturing and are not removable or replaceable. They are designed to last and will not dry out, even if the cover is not airtight.

    How do I clean and store the Magic Light Brush?

    • Wipe the bristles with a dry paper towel between color changes to prevent mixing.
    • When finished, snap the cover on to protect the color pads.
    • Store the unit in a cool, dry place.

    Battery Installation:

    Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two screws on the battery compartment cover.
    Insert three (3) AA alkaline batteries.
    Ensure all three battery nibs (+ ends) face to the LEFT (refer to image on packaging or manual).

    Replace the battery cover and tighten the screws securely.

    Battery Savers:

    • To help preserve battery life, the Magic Light Brush will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
    • To reactivate the brush: Push the power switch to "off", then back to "on". This resets the unit and turns it back on.

    It is difficult to provide an exact shelf life for Crayola products because it depends on how and where they have been stored.  Our products are generally tested on the basis of how they are used, rather than how long they have remained unused.  We stand behind the Crayola brand name and will work to take care of any quality issue you may encounter.

    Scrub Under Running Water:

    • Gently scrub your pet under running water after play. Use the scrub brush to help release the marker inks from the tiny fibers (flocking). Do not clean your Scribble Scrubbie Pets in the dishwasher or bathtub.

    Allow to Dry:

    • Allow your pets to dry before a second use. Coloring on damp pets can cause the ink to wick under the fibers, making the color harder to rinse away. Let your pet air dry before storing it.

    Soaking for Stubborn Stains:

    • If colors persist after scrubbing under running water or have been on your pet for several days, consider soaking it in water for 20 minutes. For stubborn stains, an overnight soak may be necessary.

    Additional Tips:

    • Fresh coloring is easier to clean. Soap has little effect on cleaning your pets. Fresh coloring typically requires a rinse under the faucet, while concentrated coloring may require light scrubbing under a faucet or an overnight soak.
