Crayola® Washable products are designed to rinse off skin and most children’s clothing when marks accidentally leave the paper.
On occasion, marker dyes and pigments may temporarily remain on the skin. This can happen due to heavy color saturation or how the product interacts with natural oils on the skin’s surface.
Rest assured the colorants are non-toxic and safe when used as intended. Since Crayola washable products are water-based, you may find that any lingering color will fade with regular washing. If soap and water don’t remove the color right away, baby wipes, baby oil, or make-up remover can help lift the stain.
