Unleash your creativity with a blizzard of snowflakes, great for decorating the classroom or house.
Supplies:
- Crayola Scissors
- Crayola Glitter Glue
- Protractor
Steps:
1 Take a square piece of paper. Make sure it’s not too thick.
2 Fold your square in half diagonally, making a triangle. Then fold this triangle along the middle, making a smaller triangle.
3 Divide this triangle by drawing three equal sections. The easiest way to do this is to find the apex (corner opposite the longest side). Use a protractor to divide the angle of the apex into three 30-degree angles. It’s okay if it’s not exact.
4 Now that your triangle is in three sections, fold the left section to the front. Next, fold the right section the same way.
5 Flip the shape over so you see a horizontal edge. Cut along this edge to make a wedge.
6 Keeping the wedge folded, cut out random shapes along the edges.
7 Unfold the paper. Say hello to your snowflake! Make it even more unique using glitter crayons, paint, or whatever sticks!
